Our 200-280℃ Medium Duty High-temperature with Brake Caster Wheel combines the heat resistance of our standard high-temperature casters with a secure brake mechanism, ideal for high-heat environments where equipment stability is critical. Available in 2.5" (63mm) to 5" (125mm) sizes, it supports loads from 90kg to 150kg and maintains performance in temperatures up to 280℃. This caster is perfect for industrial oven maintenance platforms, pharmaceutical drying racks, and small-scale metal heat treatment carts—settings where unexpected movement could lead to accidents or product damage. The integrated brake ensures equipment stays fixed during loading, unloading, or maintenance, adding an extra layer of safety to high-heat operations.
Wheel Core & Tread: Nylon+fiber composite with 90-95 Shore A hardness, offering exceptional heat resistance (180-280℃) and rigidity. This material does not soften or emit fumes at high temps, making it safe for food and pharmaceutical use.
Brake Components: Heat-resistant alloy and high-temperature rubber pads, ensuring the brake functions reliably even at 280℃ without sticking or degrading.
Color Options: Black (180-200℃) and brown (200-280℃) finishes, matching equipment in different high-heat environments.
Brake Mechanism: Foot-operated brake that locks both the wheel and swivel head (on swivel models) or just the wheel (on fixed variants), preventing movement in any direction. The brake is easy to engage/disengage, even while wearing work gloves.
Mounting Plate: Universal 9666mm/7545mm plate with 8.5mm holes, enabling quick installation on standard equipment (e.g., maintenance carts, drying racks).
Heat-Resistant Bearings: Swivel bearings (where applicable) use heat-stable alloys to avoid seizing, ensuring smooth movement when the brake is released.
High-Temp Brake Safety: The brake’s heat-resistant components maintain locking strength at 280℃, preventing equipment slippage in high-heat, high-risk areas (e.g., near chemical reaction kettles).
200-280℃ Heat Endurance: Nylon+fiber material resists warping and degradation, making it suitable for textile dyeing lines, high-temperature testing laboratories, and automobile engine assembly areas.
Reliable Load Support: Scales from 90kg (2.5") to 150kg (5"), handling medium-duty loads like heat-treated metal parts or pharmaceutical drying trays.
Easy Maintenance: Brake pads are replaceable (no need to replace the entire caster) and the nylon+fiber wheel is easy to clean—saving time and reducing long-term costs.

A1: The brake pads use a snap-on design—simply disengage the brake, remove the old pads (no tools required), and snap new high-temperature-compatible pads into place. We recommend checking pads every 6 months for wear, especially in high-use environments.
A2: Yes. The nylon+fiber material and brake components resist corrosion from water and dye chemicals, making it suitable for textile drying or wet heat-treatment processes. Ensure the brake is dried after exposure to excess moisture to maintain performance.
A3: The brake is designed for flat industrial floors (slope ≤ 5°). For sloped surfaces, we recommend using two or more braked casters per piece of equipment to distribute weight and ensure stability.
